Taipei City Motor Vehicles Office, Directorate General of  Highways, MOTC suggestsstates that at the end of November, a payment notice will be sent to vehicle owners that have not havingyet paid for their fuel fees. The payment is due on December 31, 2022. Overdue payment will be imposed with an administrative fine of not less than NT$300 and not more than NT$3,000 in accordance with Article No. 75 of the Highway Act, and the unpaid amount will subsequently be transferred forto administrative execution.

The Office reminds vehicle owners that after receiving the payment notice, they vehicle owner can make payment at a financial institution, post office, or convenience store. Also, the pPayment can also be made through online transfer via telephone, aton the Motor Vehicle Driver Information Service website, or by downloading the Motor Vehicle Driver Information app inon their cell phone. There are mMultiple convenient and rapid payment methods are available. If the vehicle owner does not receive the payment notice and is not sure whether the payment has beenis made, besidesin addition to consulting with thea nearby motor vehicles office, they can also make inquiry and make payment aton the Motor Vehicle Driver Information Service website or app. The vehicle owner can also make inquiriesinquire the information and make payments through thea multimedia kiosk at alocated in various convenience stores.
