Electronic payment notices for 2023 fuel fees have been sent out, and the payment deadline is from now until July 31st. The Taipei City Motor Vehicles Office urges vehicle owners to pay on time. In response to environmental protection and the enhancement of digital services, from 2017 the public has been able to apply to receive fuel fee electronic payment notices via SMS on their mobile phones. Vehicle owners can simply click on the customized payment link provided in the SMS to inquire about the vehicles subject to payment for the current year and make online transfer payments.

It is also convenient to pay through the Motor Vehicle Driver Information Service app; details of this payment option are provided in the SMS notification. By downloading the Motor Vehicle Driver Information Service app, you can easily check and pay for fuel fees from the comfort of your own home on your mobile device. The goal is to encourage the public to respond to environmental protection and make fuel fee payments simple. Please refer to the attached document for more details about the payment process.

The SMS notification also includes contact numbers for each district's motor vehicles office. If the public has any questions regarding fuel fees, they can also call to enquire.
