Services Items

Vehicle Fuel Fee Payment Methods

  1. Please bring along the payment notice for payment at banks.
  2. Pay via telephone transfer services (Transfer Telephone: 412-1366, enter user number 169#, and enter the required information according to instructions).
  3. Pay via the Motor Vehicle Driver Information Service (MVDIS) website.
  4. Pay using ATM cards via ChinaTrust Commercial Bank CTBC ATMs (Other ATM cards will be subject to interbank charges).
  5. If you have a savings account with a financial institution, you may also apply for automatic payment transfers. You will need to complete the vehicle fuel fee transfer application form attached to the payment notice and post it to the Tax and Penalty Department at the Taipei City Motor Vehicles Office. From the next vehicle fuel payment onwards, payment will automatically be withdrawn from your account.
  6. During the payment period, please bring the payment notice for payment at convenience stores (FamilyMart, 7-Eleven, Hi-Life, OK-Mart) or at the post office.

Re-Issue of Payment Notice

  1. Payment Notices may be re-printed at information kiosks such as ibon in 7-Eleven, Life-ET in Hi-Life, OK-Go in OK-Mart or FamiPort in FamilyMart.
  2. The vehicle fuel fee for vehicles and motorcycles for personal use will be collected once a year in July. For vehicles for commercial use, the vehicle fuel fee will be collected quarterly, in March, June, September and December. Vehicle owners failing to make a payment during the payment period may call 27630155 ext. 400 for re-issue of payment notice.
  3. Vehicle owners living in suburban areas of counties/cities may apply for re-issue or make a payment at their local motor vehicle department.
  4. Please keep receipts of payment of vehicle fuel fees. When applying for vehicle inspection and registration changes, please bring the original receipt for verification purposes.
