Documents Required When Applying to Take Driver's License Test：

Alien Residence Certificate (ARC) with validity of over six months.
(the date of issuance to date of expiry must be over six months)
Example : date of issuance : 2004.05.05 ~ date of expiry : 2004.11.04
Three Recent Photos (taken within the past 6 months, front view of face without hat, 1 inch) .
Application Form for Driver's License Test. (available at the office)
Local Driver's License or International Driver's License plus one copy (only for car license test.)

Attention：

The holder of a manual transmission vehicle driver's license may operate an automatic transmission vehicle.
The holder of an automatic transmission vehicle driver's license is prohibited from operating a manual transmission vehicle.

Procedures for applying for a Driver's License(for motorcycle/Scooter)

Note： No Learner's Permit is required for a scooter license.

* Please Note *

People who are going to register the motorcycle driver's license test for the first time must complete 120-minute safety lecture in advance. (Lecture is vaild for one year ).
The applicant must be over the age of 18.
Both the results of physical examination and driver knowledge test are valid for one year.
Driver's license issuance is contingent on passing both driver knowledge test and the driving test. If the driver knowledge test is failed, it retaken seven days, whereas if the driving test is failed, an appointment for a retest may be made at once, and may be retaken after seven days.
An applicant for a large, heavy motorcycle (above250cc) driver's license must have held a the heavy motorcycle driver's license for at least one year, as well as has completed the 43 hour training course.
