    Revocation of License Plate

    Required Documents

    1. One of the following proof documents:
      • Individual: Original ID card (or military ID card or alien residence certificate).
      • Company: Official document for approval of company registration (including company registration form) issued by a competent authority or certificate of company registration issued by a competent authority and unified business number issued by a taxation authority. In case of copied proof documents, a copy of the latest receipt of business tax payment shall be submitted as well.
    2. Owner’s seal (on-site signature is acceptable).
    3. Two vehicle plates or one motorcycle plate (In the case of a stolen vehicle plate, please submit proof of the stolen vehicle plate issued by the police; if one vehicle plate is lost, the other one shall still be handed in).
    4. Original vehicle license.
    5. Original New License Plate Registration Form (Please apply for reissuance if the form has been lost).
    6. Vehicle and Motorcycle Alteration Registration Form.

    Notices

    1. In case of movable property as a guarantee, please bring the letter of creditor’s consent upon the application for revocation. 
    2. Any outstanding fines and taxes should be paid off first (If the payment has been made within the past two months, please submit the receipt).
    3. In the case of vehicles with revoked license plates, the license plate may be obtained again once re-inspection has been passed.
